The Canon line is the best. There are so plentiful advantages Canon has over HP as far as printers step. The model you're looking at has individualized ink tank. With HP's, if the cyan goes you enjoy to replace the entire tri color cartridge, next to Canon, if the cyan goes, you merely replace the cyan. Also, Canon has authorized service centers adjectives over the country who can fix it under warranty the first year. HP very soon requires all warranty repairs to be shipped into HP and they will fix it and convey it back. Usually a month lacking a printer as opposed to taking it to a center and man just a few days short one. Canon is DEFINITELY the way to budge.
all canon printers are pious i have the mp 510 adjectives in one love it http://www.cnet.com.au/printers/multifun...
i own that printer.its really good.i love it.
Probably the best is for you to look at reviews by magazine. Try www.pcmag.com and then click on the Reviews tab. Search Reviews for your MP960.

BTW, I own an MP830 and an HP OfficJet d145. I turn to my HP for really high-quality color photos, but it uses inks so with alacrity. If I don't really care too much more or less quality, I'll be in motion to my Canon MP830 and print in Normal or even the fine setting. The Canon is cheaper on inks. But even at its best settings, the MP830 can't compare to the HP.
