Is a fargo dtc550 self printer appropriate?

my company is looking to buy any the fargo dtc550 or a the magicard tang 2e and rio and i'm the one doing the research on which one to go next to. if anyone can give me some dutiful information on which ones would be better to go next to that would be great.

bought a fargo once. did about a thousand five hundred prints consequently the machine give up. Although its under warranty, never trusted the contrivance eversince. Also, the printing cost is a bit steep. don't know much about magicard though.
