I hold a lexmark x2470 printer i be wondering how to bypass the alignment step as the scanner doesn't work.

iv done everything i can focus of from uninstalling it, updateing the drivers to swapping usb leads and still no pleasure. any suggestions would be great

well if the scanner doesn't work, uninstall the scanner driver (not the printer one.



If this did not work, configurate your printer to not read the scanner.



On a final write down, if the above did not worke, open up the pinter and unplug the scanner powwer supply (this should not affect the printer surrounded by any way.
