Actually to be exact the same part. different manufacturers enjoy the letter labeled differently. HP's wide-ranging number for that cartridge is 78. So as long as its advertise as the #78 cartridge or c5678 your surrounded by business. Good luck.
All hp compatible cartridges have another (normally 2 digit) number. If this match any of the numbers on your printer cartridge carter, yes. Otherwise do not try, the differences in electronics hold been agreed to damage a printer.
Absolutely. The difference between the A and the D at the back simply refers to the amount of ink inside.

The A model has roughly twice the capacity of the D one.
The A videotape is a larger capacity videotape than the D cartridge. It costs more but have more ink in it.

Some regions also do not own the A cartridge for mart (because the buying cost is too high and they dont involve to print that much).

So getting the A or the D is fine for your printer.
yes you can, although i would not advise it and this is why.

HP uses communication codes to reflect how much ink a tape contains. A is high let go (best value) d is moderate yield and g is low give up.

The only difference between your two cartridges is that a 6578A is a 38ml videotape and a 6578d is a 19 ml cartridge.
