I am have a problem downloading my hot Epson CX5000 all-in-one printer into my Mac / Apple laptop?

I own been successful adjectives the way until the final step when I choose the printer surrounded by the 'setup utility'. I get the error message An error occur while trying to add the select printers then undrneath that within smaller letters it say service-error-service-unavail... I called Epson and in need hesitation he said it be an internal Mac problem and I should speak with them. Of course my warantee is up and they will not even speak to me. I am on an weak Clamshell but I am running on Mac OS 10.3. Help!!!

I dont know if you visited nearby website, but here it is. They seem to hold quite afew different drivers for the different Mac version.
