HP photosmart 3310 or HP photosmart c7180?

Recently bought a alien printer that was Hp photosmart c7180 and i am worried that its not that fitting. Is it a good printer to get going with? or should i return it and continue for the HP photosmart 3310? I am using the printer for many things including pictures, and scan things. Also, whats the difference between the c7180 and the 3310? my parents say that its up to me and they try to comfort me proverb that you can never keep up next to technology cause as soon as printer comes out, a better one is on the way Even though its true, i simply don't want to end up regretting. I enjoy been to review sites such as cnet.com and other sites but i am still not sure. I also brought it for $320 dollars. it is an adjectives in one printer and is it worth it?
