Hey its comparatively easy, adjectives you need is a tremendously fine tipped soldering iron.



Pre tin all the soldering points on the dvd drive and the wiikey ( 6 contained by total) if you lay the chip over the area on the dvd drive it become clear which ones you need to do.

Just take care and dont heat the pad up too much or you will end up pulling tracks stale, if you cant get the connections to team up use a wire from an matured HDD cable to bridge the contacts from chip to DVD drive.
