I own Vista Home Prem. on my laptop However on my Deskstop I have Windows XP which is the fundamental.
I have tried numerous times to connect the HP 950 PSC All contained by one printer (which is connected to the XP) through networking the computer but it have failed. I would also similar to to share files fromm one pc to laptop.
Btw how do you find the TCP/IP?
How do I share my printer from XP to Vista?
If you own a network set up consequently as long as your files have be set to allow sharing you'll have no problems... for the printer you'll requirement to visit the HP website and see if they own a Vista driver for it, if they do, download it on to your XP computer and install it on there as an upgrade of your existing driver, after on your laptop click on start>network and within the network pane click on add a printer and follow the instructions that come up.
I did this same routine today near a Lexmark all-in-one.
You will need to upgrade your printer for Vista. You can seize a free download online from the HP site.
